chocolate caramel cake

1 german chocolate cake mix

1 jar caramel ice cream topping

1 c chocolate chips

3/4 c nuts

bake cake as directed on box.  while still hot, pour caramel ice cream topping over cake.  sprinkle caramel layer with chocolate chips and chopped nuts.  can serve cooled or whole still warm.
