Apple spice cake

3 c sliced apples

1/2 c raisins

1/2 c water

1 small box vanilla pudding

1 spice cake mix

    ingredients on box of cake mix

1/2 c chopped nuts

powdered sugar

preheat oven to 350.  cut apples into bite size pieces.  mix together apples, raisins, water, and pudding mix.  microwave on high for 4 minutes.  stir and spread apple mixture evenly over bottom of greased 9x13 pan.  make cake batter as directed on box.  pour over apples.  sprinkle with nuts.  bake 30-40 minutes.  cool 20 minutes.  sprinkle with powdered sugar.  serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
